| | Things with Rita are just getting surreal. She came over last night with the DVD of "Across the Universe," that Julie Taymor musical using the Beatles' catalogue. Great movie, but that's not the point. She had somehow spliced footage of her singing "Lovely Rita, Meter Maid" into the movie, right between the parts where Prudence is in the closet and the Merry Pranksters come to town. How'd she do it? She looked beautiful, fun, and enlightened: a real flowerchild of the sixties, if you ask me. She's got a nice voice too. Anyway, so things are weird, but I love it. We also kissed that night. Her lips are like velvet dewdrops. Wow. Haha, despite all this I've been finding time to search people and I'm having even more success. Maybe cause I'm not stressing over it. Maybe the "internet fates" notice that I'm not so desperate when I people search anymore and they're having pity on me. Internet entities might be a silly concept for you, but Rita thinks they exist. And that they're listening to us. Rita's also a gamer...can you believe it? She pointed me towards this hilarious rant To The Players From My Last Call Of Duty 4 Team Deathmatch and I must say it's very true.
